Legendary writer Douglas Adams would have been 61 today. Born in Cambridge on March 11 1952, Adams died of a heart attack in Santa Barbara, California aged 49. To celebrate his life Google have created an interactive doodle.
Creator of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and former Doctor Who script editor and writer, Douglas Adams will continue to be missed by sci-fi fans around the world.
